About the ride

The trails cover hilly BLM and private ground. There are open field areas as well as forested areas. Parts of the trails contain rocky areas and we therefore highly recommend that all horses have hoof protection. Water supplies will be spaced throughout the ride.

A ride meeting will take place at 7:30 PM on Friday, the night prior to the ride following dinner.

Start times are as follows:

  • 50 Miles - 6:00 AM
  • 25 Miles - 7:00 AM
  • Trail Riders - any time afer 9:00 AM
  •

    Ride Camp

Ride camp is on an open field on private ground. There is sufficient room for large or small rigs. Water for horses will be available for animals, but there is a limited supply of water for human consumption so please prepare accordingly. Dogs must be leashed at ALL TIMES. This is especially important since this is private ground. Manure will only need to be spread out before you leave.

    Vetting

Pre-ride vetting will begin Friday evening, about 4 PM. Our head vet will be Dr. Matt Dredge, DVM. All vet checks are in camp.
